It has leaked out that the presentation of the S1 and S1R on January 31, 2019 to go over the stage. Already at the photokina 2018 last September Panasonic had officially announced the two cameras and some features and features, but many details have also held back the company. On the 31st of January the final presentation will finally take place, where really all technical data of the two cameras will be revealed.

What you already know about the two cameras? First of all, there should be only one fundamental difference between the two full-frame cameras, so the S1 is supposed to resolve with 24 megapixels, while the S1R will have to offer a resolution of 47 megapixels.
Otherwise, however, both cameras should be able to record videos in 4K with 60 fps, in addition, there should be an IBIS, two memory card slots, a 3-way display, a very robust and high-quality housing such as a prominent electronic viewfinder. Rumors had suggested that the viewfinder might resolve at 5.6 million pixels – let’s wait and see.
The price of the Panasonic S1 is rumored to be in the range of a good 2,000 euros, while the Panasonic S1R will probably cost about 4,000 euros.
