Nikon Coolpix A1000 and B600, new advanced compact cameras that boast of superzoom of 35 and 60 increases
The Japanese company has introduced two new models of compact cameras, the main advantage of which is to integrate a superspace. In fact, Nikon presents them as “two new Superpixoms Coolpix“. These are the Nikon Coolpix A1000, an advanced compact with x35 zoom and the Nikon Coolpix B6000, a bridge type whose lens offers a ratio of x60 to.
Both promise “powerful features and Nikkor optics to capture stunning images, from the distance to the city streets: these compact, lightweight and easy-to-use cameras offer a defined wide-angle view to even achieve super-telephoto images low light conditions. “And both are updates to the Coolpix A900 and B500 introduced three years ago.

For its part, the bridge-type model extends the focal length range 60 times (from 24 to 1440 mm) and can even reach 2880 mm digitally with the function called Dynamic Fine Zoom. The idea behind this camera is to offer an all-terrain model, either for a “visit to the park as a family or for a city break”.
Although the sensor is similar to the previous sensor (16 megapixels and 1 / 2.3 inches), this camera offers less advanced features as the screen is neither touch-sensitive nor capable of shooting RAW photos or 4K videos. As with the previous version, these are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows the Nikon SnapBridge application to “share the best shots or use an intelligent remote-shooting device.”
Price and availability
The firm has not yet given us details about when the new Nikon Coolpix A1000 and B600 will be available for sale or their cost, but from the latter we can get an idea considering the cost of the models they replace. Thus, the Nikon Coolpix A1000 would be between 400 and 500 euros(although by incorporating the electronic viewfinder it is possible to climb more), while the more modest Coolpix B600 would stay somewhat above 300 euros
